# Getting Analytics Exclusion Impact

> Get the results and products affected by excluding a metric revision from analytics.

Call this before [excluding a metric revision](https://docs.galtea.ai/sdk/api/metric/set-analytics-exclusion.md) to see how many results and products the change would affect.

## Returns

A `MetricAnalyticsExclusionImpact` object with the following fields:

**result\_count** `int`

Total number of results produced by this metric revision.

**products** `list[MetricAnalyticsExclusionImpactProduct]`

The products with results from this metric revision. Each `MetricAnalyticsExclusionImpactProduct` has:

* `id` (`str`): The product ID.
* `name` (`str`): The product name.
* `result_count` (`int`): Number of results this metric revision produced for this product.

## Example

```python theme={"system"}
    impact = galtea.metrics.get_analytics_exclusion_impact(metric_id=metric_id)
    print(f"Results affected:  {impact.result_count}")
    for product in impact.products:
        print(f"  {product.name}: {product.result_count} results")
```

## Parameters

**metric\_id** `string` *required*

The ID of the metric revision to inspect.
