# Get Run By Custom ID

> Retrieve a run by the label you gave it.

## Returns

Returns a [Run](https://docs.galtea.ai/concepts/product/run.md) object.

Raises `EntityNotFoundException` when the product has no run with that label.

## Example

```python theme={"system"}
run = galtea.runs.get_by_custom_id(product_id=product_id, custom_id="ci-build-42")
print(f"Run {run.id} holds {run.session_count} sessions and {run.evaluation_count} evaluations")
```

## Parameters

**product\_id** `string` *required*

The ID of the product the run belongs to.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A custom ID is unique only per product, so the product anchor is required.

**custom\_id** `string` *required*

The label passed as `custom_id` to [Start Run](https://docs.galtea.ai/sdk/api/run/start.md).
