Retrieving Monitor

Retrieve a specific monitor by its ID.

Returns

Returns a Monitor object for the given monitor ID.

Example

monitor = galtea.monitors.get(monitor_id=monitor.id)

The returned monitor lists metric_group_ids (the families picked directly), specification_ids (the bound Specifications) and scored_metric_group_ids (the families the monitor scores today, from both sources). specification_ids_by_metric_group_id maps each family a bound Specification brings to the Specifications behind it.

monitor_id · string · required

The ID of the monitor you want to retrieve.

Errors

Error	Cause
EntityNotFoundException	The platform holds nothing under the id or name you passed. Import it with from galtea import EntityNotFoundException. Read the status from e.status_code. When the API answered 404 the SDK raises the subclass EntityNotFoundHTTPError, which also derives from requests.HTTPError and carries e.response, so code catching requests.HTTPError keeps working.
